Shekinah History
The history of Shekinah Lodge is very interesting. Through the years the lodge has moved locations, changed names, and built buildings. Even the land the current lodge is on has a unique history with east tennessee.
Riverdale School was home to Riverdale lodge in 1886 when the lodge was chartered. The lodge was renamed Marbledale Lodge and was moved from Riverdale School to our current location off Strawberry Plains Pike.
